X-Stitch Xpress!

  Hello! Welcome to the new web presence for my equally new business!

 X-Stitch Xpress is what I call a "Mobile Needlework Shop" -- a new business model that combines the best of storefront businesses (Local Needlework Shops, or LNSs) and internet business (or Online Needlework Shops -- ONSs). Our local area doesn't have any LNSs, a fact which deprives local stitchers of the opportunity to handle fabrics and flosses, to compare and contrast colors, and to shop for patterns and kits from smaller designers and distributors. No yummy silk flosses, no hand-dyed or other specialty fabrics. What's worse, no real way to reach out to other needleworkers in the local area!

 With X-Stitch Xpress I intend to carry as much inventory in my car as I can, bringing fabrics and catalogs and sample cards (and much more) to customers right in their homes. Customers can keep "wish lists" with me so that as I can tailor my inventory to their needs. I can serve as a resource for local networking and community-building for needleworkers as well as introduce people to the hobby. With over 25 years as a needleworker, I bring a backlog of experience and enthusiasm to new stitchers and am always happy to share!
